The daycare centre in the heart of Brügg
The kids & co Brügg daycare centre is located in the heart of Brügg near Biel, right next to the train station in the former UBS building. The modern premises offer space for 36 children in three mixed-age groups per day. Children aged three months to school age are cared for here. The daycare centre has its own garden, which invites children to explore and discover. Meals are freshly prepared every day by our daycare centre's own chef.
During the summer months, there are weekly forest days with the entire group of children in almost all weather conditions: eating food cooked over a fire, sleeping under trees and discovering the many wonders of nature make children's hearts beat faster. In addition to daily gardening sessions and walks, the children visit a gym once a week – fun is guaranteed !

Exchange days
If, exceptionally, a child cannot attend the daycare centre on the usual day, the day can be exchanged free of charge within the same calendar week, provided that a place is available on the desired day. The request must be received by the daycare centre manager at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations due to holidays are excluded.
Additional care days will be charged separately as usual.
Out-of-hours care
This daycare centre offers out-of-hour care for children on request, if the parents are unavailable for important professional reasons. The care can be extended to a maximum of 6h00 at the earliest and 20h00 at the latest. Further information on this in the form out-of-hours care (in French).
Observation visits
In order to offer an insight into the day-to-day work of the daycare centre and to make our pedagogical work visible to the parents, we offer visits to the nursery by appointment. Such a visit lasts 1-2 hours and includes a pre- and debriefing session with the daycare centre manager. For further information consult the document Observation visits (in German, in French).

Information on the childcare voucher system
The daycare center is only closed between Christmas and New Year's Day. It is also closed on public holidays, on the Friday after Ascension Day, and on two training days—this is our contribution to your work-life balance.
