Creche at family-friendly Schwamendingen quarter with own garden
The Daycare centre kids & co Kreuzwiesen is located in the family-friendly neighbourhood of Zurich-Schwamendingen and Herzogenmühle in District 12. Our daycare centre is nestled in a quiet, green area, very close to the Auhof outdoor swimming pool and tram lines 7 and 9, which offer convenient public transport connections. We are also easily accessible by car – we have our own parking spaces right outside the door.
At our daycare center in Zurich North, we care for children aged 3 months to kindergarten age in mixed-age groups. The spacious, light-filled rooms offer plenty of space for playing, learning and discovering. The children also benefit from our own garden with a large playground, which guarantees fun in a natural setting thanks to its many plants, stones and lawns. Furthermore, the numerous excursions, weekly visits to the gym and forest days place a clear emphasis on exercise and activities, including discovering the outdoors.
The educational work at the Kreuzwiesen daycare centre is based on the concept of educational and learning stories (BULG). We support the children individually, accompany them in a resource-oriented manner and strengthen their social and emotional skills. Exercise, play, creativity and experiences in nature are central elements of our everyday life in our theme- and project-oriented work.
Our daycare centre in Schwamendingen is ideal for families from the neighbourhood or those who live or work in Oerlikon, Seebach, Wallisellen or Dübendorf. Its proximity to green spaces and quiet location make our facility an attractive place for childcare.
