A daycare centre close to nature
The 22-place daycare centre is located in Fenil-sur-Corsier, above Vevey, in a fully renovated manor house surrounded by greenery with a fantastic view of the Alps.
The large, light-filled rooms, including a room with wall bars and another with a mezzanine, are designed to encourage physical activity as part of our ‘Youpla-Bouge’ label.
The children can enjoy various activities in their own garden, such as playing on the slide or in the sand, or exploring the little hiding places among the trees.
Meals are prepared and delivered daily by a team of chefs from La cuisine des Bonnettes based in Montreux. They guarantee local, seasonal food that is suitable for children. These meals have also been certified by the ‘Fourchette Verte’ label since 2022.
Merck Serono employees also benefit from the proximity of the crèche to their workplace and a favourable pricing model.
The daycare centre caters for children from the end of maternity leave until they start school, divided into three age groups:
Age groups
- Baby : 0-18/24 months
- Toddler : 18-30/36 months
- Big ones : 2.5 years to school entry age
Registration
Members of profawo have priority access.
Exchange days
If, exceptionally, a child cannot attend the daycare centre on the usual day, the day can be exchanged free of charge within the same calendar week, provided that a place is available on the desired day. The request must be received by the daycare centre manager at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations due to holidays are excluded.
Additional care days will be charged separately as usual.

Fee: CHF 167.50 per day.
For employees of member companies, depending on the relevant gross income: CHF 110 to CHF 162.50 per day.
The daycare center is only closed between Christmas and New Year's Day. It is also closed on public holidays, on the Friday after Ascension Day, and on two training days—this is our contribution to your work-life balance.
