Holiday care in Lucerne

A programme that fits your child

During one week of the school holidays each year, profawo offers varied vacation care for kindergarten and school children. The children are professionally looked after and enjoy a carefree time while their parents can go about their work without worrying.

The program is based on the composition of the group and takes into account the age, needs and wishes of the children. They do handicrafts, paint, cook and bake together. The children can exercise on the sports field and in the gym or go on exciting excursions to the museum or the forest.

The registration deadline is on 06.06.2026.

You can cancel your registration free of charge until 07.05.2026.

Daily structure

08:00 – 08:30 Arrival of the children

08:30 – 17:30 Day’s programme

17:30 – 18:00 Pick up time

Informations

The costs per child/day include childcare, the programme including excursions and meals.

  • Employees and students of the University and PH Lucerne pay CHF 50/day.
  • Families of member companies pay CHF 100.
  • External participants pay CHF 110/day.

You can either book individual days or the entire week's programme. Registration deadline is 30 days before the start of the school holidays. Details can be found in the terms of use for profawo holiday programmes. The programme is guaranteed, but the maximum number of participants per day is limited.
